Local Session Sync is a browser extension for local development workflows. Cookie handling happens locally in the browser.
The extension accesses cookies from the active browser tab only after the user explicitly invokes the extension and grants site access if required.
The extension copies selected cookie name and value pairs from the active tab and recreates them on configured localhost targets.
The extension does not send cookie data to any remote server. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking or external data sharing.
The extension does not maintain a remote database or backend. Cookies recreated on localhost are stored by the browser as normal browser cookies for localhost.
The user controls when the extension runs, which localhost targets are used and which cookie names are included or excluded. The user can remove the extension at any time and clear localhost cookies through the browser.
